Web link graphic: Cut Costs, Save Energy, Get EfficientThe Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, is launching the SaveEnergy tool, a one-stop online resource designed to showcase the benefits of an on-farm energy audit while simplifying the process. The SaveEnergy tool is part of the U.S. Dairy Sustainability Commitment, an effort established by dairy producers to reduce environmental impact and create business value across the supply chain.

The SaveEnergy Web site includes an interactive map that instantly connects users to audit-related programs in their state.

Energy Consumption Awareness Tools

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has developed four Energy Tools designed to increase energy awareness in agriculture and to help farmers and ranchers identify where they can reduce their energy costs. Energy tools are available for:
