The ATTREQ System Variable

If you insert a block that contains attributes but the program does not prompt you to enter values for the attributes, the setting of the ATTREQ system variable (sysvar) may need to be changed.

The ATTREQ system variable has two settings.

• When set to (0) the program will insert a block without prompting you for values of the attributes in the block. Any default values defined in the attribute will be entered.
   

• When set to (1) the program will prompt you for values of the attributes in the block.
