The ATTDIA System Variable

If you insert a block that contains attributes but the program prompts you for entries in the command line instead of displaying the Edit Attributes dialog box, the setting of the ATTDIA system variable (sysvar) may need to be changed.

The ATTDIA system variable has two settings:

• When set to (0) the program will prompt you for values of the attributes through the command line.
   

• When set to (1) the program will display the Edit Attributes dialog box.
