Creating a Single Line Command Toolbar Button

In earlier releases of AutoCAD, a user could end the Continuous Line command by clicking the right button on their mouse (the button functioned as the Enter key). Starting with AutoCAD 2000 a user could end the command by right clicking with the mouse, then selecting Enter from the pop-up menu. The pop-up menu is often disabled by seasoned users who prefer the old way of ending the command.  However, the command still requires the user to invoke the Enter command in one way or another.

This guide provides instructions for creating a Single Line command toolbar button. The Single Line command does not require the Enter command in order to be completed.

Download the file below to the directories shown. The path assumes the user is operating Land Desktop 3. Your directory structure may vary depending on the Autodesk version you are operating.

Save this file to c:\program files\land desktop 3\support.
