Selecting Objects Using Modifiers
Many AutoCAD
commands will prompt you to select objects. This is referred to as creating a selection set.
There are a number of modifiers that can be used to govern how objects are
selected.
The following modifiers are typed at the command line after you are
prompted to “Select Objects.”

objects from the selection set is to hold down the Shift
key while selecting the objects.
