The NRCS New York team has a strong partnership with a wide variety of government agencies, universities, environmental groups, professional organizations, and many others who share, and expand, upon our mission.

Participants of NRCS conservation programs may obtain technical assistance to implement conservation practices from a certified Technical Service Provider.

    American Farmland Trust is committed to protecting the nation's best farm and ranch land and improving the economic viability of agriculture. AFT works with federal, state and local leaders and communities to develop legislation, implement policies and execute programs that keep farmers on their land and protect our environment.

    Members of the American Society of Agronomy are dedicated to the conservation and wise use of natural resources to produce food, feed, and fiber crops while maintaining and improving the environment.

  • Audubon New York
    Audubon New York is dedicated to the protection of birds, other wildlife and their habitats through advocacy and education, serving as the state program of the National Audubon Society.

  • Chesapeake Bay Program - A Watershed Partnership
    The Bay Program is a partnership of people and organizations, ranging from federal and state agencies to local governments to non-profits and academic institutions.

  • Crop Science Society of America (CSSA)

  • Ducks Unlimited
    Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl.

    The EnviroLink Network is a non-profit organization which has been providing access to thousands of online environmental resources since 1991.

  • Farm*A*Syst
    Farm*A*Syst is a partnership between government agencies and private business that enables you to prevent pollution on farms, ranches, and in homes using confidential environmental assessments.

  • Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI)
    The Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative was founded to provide high quality technical assistance on privately owned grazing lands on a voluntary basis and to increase the awareness of the importance of grazing land resources.

    The mission of the New England Small Farm Institute is to promote small farm development by providing information and training for aspiring, beginning and transitioning farmers.

  • New York Federation of Resource Conservation and Development Area Councils
    Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Councils play an important role in the conservation, development, and utilization of natural resources. RC&D Councils work to improve the general level of economic activity and to enhance the environment and standard of living in all communities.  

  • National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils Inc. (NARC&DC)
    The National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils serves as an advocate for local Councils. We assist local Councils to identify, address and solve challenges to sustain and improve quality of life in their own communities.

    The Soil and Water Conservation Society serves as an advocate for conservation professionals and for science-based conservation practice, programs, and policy.
