Got Manure? Enhancing Environmental and Economic Sustainability
Two-Day National Trade Show and Conference to Be Held
in Syracuse
Syracuse will be the site of two-day national trade show and conference,
coming March 27-29, with
a focus on anaerobic digestion and manure management systems. The
conference will help farmers make informed business decisions about the
collection, treatment, storage and application techniques of manure generated by
their operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to take an optional one-day tour of select New York on-farm integrated manure handling/treatment systems
utilizing anaerobic digesters.
Cornell's PRO-DAIRY Program, the New York State Energy Research and
Development Authority (NYSERDA) and NRCS will be co-hosting the conference with AgStar,
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's voluntary outreach and educational
program that promotes the recovery and use of methane from animal manure.
